Kristi's Tropical Rum Cake

One of our amazing customer helps us wow the crowd with her spectacular Tropical Rum Cake made with our Persian Lime Olive Oil & Coconut Balsamic 

Ingredients for cake 

  • 1 yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/3 cup Olive Morada Persian Lime Olive Oil
  • 1/2 cup Dark Rum (or sub rum extract = 4 tbs)
  • 1/4 cup Olive Morada Coconut Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1 package (3.4oz) instant vanilla pudding

  • Ingredients for glaze 
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1/4 cup of water
  • 1/2 cup of rum 
  • Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Pour into bundt cake pan and bake at 350° for

    approximately 30-35 minutes. Have glaze ready close to when taking cake out of

    oven. Prepare glaze on stovetop , bring butter, sugar and water to boil add rum

    after it boils then pour over cake while still in bundt pan, Once cooled flip over

    onto plate and enjoy!
